I had an appointment after work and didn’t get home until 9:00 p.m. It was too late to cook a real meal and I wasn’t all that hungry anyway. So what did I eat? A bag of popcorn with some golden raisins thrown in (yummy!) and a peach.

Is that bad?

  1. Was it microwave popcorn or hot-air popped? I often have popcorn and fruit for supper –though I usually throw in some cheese or something proteinish. Chased down with a crisp glass of Chardonnay. Delish.

  2. I think the only thing that could have made it better would have been some Cheez-Its. Because Cheez-Its? Make everything better. MMMMMm.

    (I had a cereal for my dinner!)

  3. It was a small bag of Orville’s fat-free microwave popcorn. I know that’s gotta be sooooo bad for you.

    But that peach? That peach was the second best peach I’ve ever had. THE best peach ever was in Paris three years ago and it was worth every Euro (I swear to God, it was a $7 peach). Last night’s was way cheaper and a close second!

    Lesley, I haven’t had Cheez-Its in years, but you know I”m going to run out today and buy a box because I won’t be able to get them out of my head!
